Representative for the 4th Congressional District of Indiana who has lived
in area of the district for more than a decade and who is willing to
participate in public forums to present his positions to the voters.
We believe that it is the time for the 4th District of Indiana to be
represented by a Congressman who is willing to fight for our
Constitutional rights.
It is time for us to have a Representative who
has not only publicly opposed the war in Iraq since before it began
but has proposed concrete measures that Congress can take to end the
war.
It is time for us to be represented by a Congressman who will
support measures to ensure that all Americans have access to
affordable health insurance and high-quality healthcare.
It is time
for us to have a Representative who has understood for years that
global warming is a reality and that energy security needs to be a
priority and has proposed measures to confront the issue.
It is time
for us to be represented by a Congressman who has the expertise to
construct specific and effective legislation to prepare America for
pandemics and to prevent biological weapons attacks.
It is time for
us to have a Representative who has spoken out for years about the
problems at Guantanamo Bay.
It is time for us to be represented by a
Congressman who will be a leader in making sure that veterans receive
the benefits that they have earned and were promised.
It is time for
us to have a Representative who recognizes the corrupting influence of
our present campaign-finance system and who will serve the interests
of his constituents and not merely those of his campaign
contributors.
